Traveling Construction Project Engineer (Mechanical)
This position requires 75–100% travel for extended periods (weeks to months at a time). Candidates must be comfortable being on-site across multiple states. We are seeking a Project Engineer with 1–3 years of construction experience or relevant internships to support large-scale mechanical projects across the Midwest and East Coast.

What You’ll Do
Support Project Managers on large-scale mechanical construction projects
Prepare and track submittals and RFIs
Maintain project documentation, logs, and reporting
Assist with scheduling, coordination, and project tracking
Help manage communication between field teams and office staff
Utilize Procore and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud
Support overall project compliance and documentation requirements
What we’re Looking For
Degree (or in progress) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Mechanical construction exposure (internship or field experience preferred)
Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to travel for projects
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years construction experience
Internship experience with a General Contractor or Mechanical Contractor
Experience with Procore and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud
