This role will own and continuously improve the company\'s EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, drive a proactive safety culture, and partner with cross-functional teams to reduce risk and support operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program across the facility
Develop, implement, and improve EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NRC, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations
Conduct hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and risk mitigation activities
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs
Manage EHS reporting, recordkeeping, permits, and regulatory submissions
Coordinate internal audits, inspections, and regulatory agency interactions
Deliver new hire, annual, and task-specific safety training
Monitor workplace conditions and identify opportunities to improve safety and environmental performance
Support manufacturing, engineering, and facilities teams with EHS considerations for new processes, equipment, and facility changes
Lead emergency preparedness and response planning
Track and report key EHS metrics to leadership
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
